Daghfous additionally indicated that “the sequencing operations of recent positive tests are proceeding. “ He added that “Tunisia is ready for any development of the epidemiological situation,” indicating that “the Omicron variant has not generated any deaths so far in the world. “ He further informed that “this new variant is distinguished by its high speed of propagation, superior to that of the Delta. “
