The Ministry of Education declared the recording 49 new cases of Coronavirus infection on Thursday, October 23, in educational establishments, bringing the tally of infection since the start of the school year to 1,582 cases, and 4,010 suspected cases.
In its periodic report on the health situation in schools, the ministry registered that the infections involve 763 educational establishments, with a percentage estimated at 0.063% which is affecting 662 students, 731 teachers, 146 administrative and educational staff, administrators, general supervisors, supervisors and advisers.
As for infections among workers in these establishments, they amount to 43.
