The investigating judge at the Tataouine court of first instance issued last week four arrest warrants against 4 people including the coordinator of El Kamour Dhaou El Ghoul for attempted premeditated murder, formation of an accord, possession of a firearm without authorization and drunkenness on the public highway while a search warrant was issued against two other individuals.
In a statement given to Tunisie Numérique, the spokesperson for the court Kacem Mezguar revealed that the detainees assailed 3 individuals and wounded another with a firearm. The speaker explained that the defendants were drinking alcohol in front of a citizen’s home. When the latter attempted to drive them away from the vicinity of his home, they violently attacked him. A fight took place between the citizen and the detainees as well as 10 other individuals who joined the altercation after some time, including the one with a firearm. Our intervenor added that one of the accused employed the firearm and fired 3 shots, one of which hit the foot of the brother of the owner of the house.
