Ennahdha called, in a press release issued on its official page, for the release of Mondher Ounissi, voicing its full solidarity with him following the denigration campaign that sought to harm the party and its leaders.
Ennahdha also denounced the arrest of former minister and president of the Shura Council, Abdelkarim Harouni, clarifying that his incarceration could further worsen his state of health.
“The Movement calls for respecting the rights of individuals and political organizations and warns against the negative repercussions of the policies adopted by the authorities,” the press release reads.
