Tunisia: Ennahdha condemns the slowness of evacuation operations for Tunisians in Ukraine

Ennahdha stated it is monitoring with concern the consequences of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the conditions of the Tunisian community living there.

The movement condemned the slowness of the process of evacuating Tunisians launched by the Tunisian authorities and the hold in taking the required measures despite recurring indications of the outbreak of battle for weeks.

Calling on the authority in place to assume its accountability for accelerating the evacuation and taking proper steps to safeguard Tunisians and ease their return to the country.

The movement likewise expressed its sympathy and complete solidarity with the Tunisian citizens stranded in Ukraine and their families and wishes them a safe return as soon as possible.
