Tunisia – Ennahdha denies death of Rached Ghannouchi

Ennahdha denied, this evening, Saturday January 20, 2024, the passing of its leader, Rached Ghannouchi, emphasising that he is in good health.

The movement condemned, in a press release, what it described as “the dissemination of such rumours and absurdities”, denouncing “those who support them without moral reason or conscience”.

The movement also cautioned “that behind the dissemination of these rumours are calculations or scenarios developed by those who do not desire good for the revolution, the people and the country, or who wish that something bad happens to the leader movement”.
