Tunisia-Ennahdha denounces “offensive” statements against Algeria

Ennahdha qualified as irresponsible in a press release on February 1 declarations by some politicians about alleged Algerian interference in Tunisian internal affairs.

It evoked the historical relationship between the two nations, welcoming Algeria’s support for emerging democracy in Tunisia, as well as the collaboration between the two countries on the economic, security and health plan.

Recall that the former President of the Republic, Moncef Marzouki, announced on January 29 in an interview for an Arab channel, that Algeria had fought the Tunisian revolution in 2011
