The National Order of Lawyers condemned the judgment of the Sousse Court of Appeal relating to the opening of a legal inquiry against the former president as well as the former secretary-general of the regional section of lawyers in Sousse, calling it as “unfair” and “strange”.
It further deemed that this decision assists the interests of certain dishonest lawyers, communicating support for the two aforementioned lawyers.
The National Order of Lawyers consequently called on all its members to observe a day of anger in Sousse next Thursday in order to protect lawyers and the structures that represent them.
