Tunisia – Ennahdha will not present presidential candidate and ,to support consensual democratic candidate

Ennahda Secretary General Ajmi Ourimi announced that they will break the boycott movement during the next presidential elections, after rejecting to participate in the legislative and local elections for various reasons.

Speaking to a private radio station, he noted that in principle they do not have a candidate for the presidential elections, but that they will support a consensual and democratic candidate.

He clarified that the Ennahdha Movement works within the framework of the National Salvation Front and that the choice will be made within the framework of discussions with the components of the Front.
