The European Parliament declared, in a statement issued Thursday, December 15 on its site that it will not observe the next legislative elections in Tunisia, planned for this Saturday, December 17, 2022.

“Legislative elections will take place in Tunisia on December 17, 2022. The European Parliament will not observe this electoral process and therefore will not comment on the process or the results.
