The vice-president of the Jewish community of Tunisia, Mr. Khalifa Atoun, sent a message to Tunisian civil society to declare that Tunisian Jews in Djerba or in other governorates live in total security and categorically denied the information relayed on social networks claiming that Jews are in peril.
Atoun again confirmed that the community benefits from security protection by the Tunisian authorities. He also recalled that Head of State Kais Saied had announced that Jewish citizens are Tunisians(…).
