Tunisia – Extension of preventive detention for Bechir Akremi and Habib Ellouz

The investigating judge at the Anti-Terrorism Judicial Pole has decided to extend for four months the protective detention of deposed judge Bechir Akremi and Habib Ellouz in the context of cases of a terrorist nature (falsification of fines, interference in the conduct of judicial investigations, assisting an individual to escape criminal prosecution, entering into an accord and joining a terrorist organization, etc.).
