Tunisia-Faouzi Khabouchi: use of applications in individual taxis has become a threat to safety of Tunisians [video]

Individual taxi drivers organized a demonstration movement on Monday, January 9, 2023, against the background of what they consider a breach of the law by foreign private companies that use applications.

In a statement made to Tunisie Numérique, the Secretary General of the Tunisian Union of Individual Taxis, Faouzi Khabouchi, confirmed that this demonstration came to voice their dissatisfaction with the context of the presence of foreign companies based in Tunisia which used modern applications transport.

These companies, according to him, operate without control and without any legal nature, emphasising that the union of individual taxis is not against the use of technology and the use of these applications, but the issue is that these applications work Now with private civil cars.
