Tunisia-Filling rate of dams is only 27%

The Tunisian Union of Agriculture and Fisheries revealed, this Monday, September 18, 2023, that the filling rate of dams in Tunisia is at only 27%.

It added that the highest rate was registered in the Sidi Salem dam (31.5%), while those of Cap Bon did not surpass 7%.

It noted that the situation of water resources is difficult and that the State must think of immediate solutions, including updating lawmaking relating to water.
