Minister of Foreign Affairs Jerandi, held, within the framework of his participation in the Arab ministerial consultative meeting held in Kuwait, a meeting with Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
The meeting concentrated on the diverse challenges confronting the Arab region, which will be on the agenda during the following period, said a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs .
The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States underscored the significance of continuing the consultation on Arab issues, stating that the consultative meeting underway in Kuwait is an important mechanism to handle all these issues in the framework of a constructive and transparent dialogue.
The two sides likewise examined the upcoming Arab summit to be held in Algeria, which will be an important step towards strengthening Arab cooperation, with a view to creating the best conditions for its success.
