Foreign minister Noureddine Erray received U.S Ambassador to Tunisia Donald Blome. The meeting was an opportunity for the two sides to discuss several aspects of bilateral cooperation in many fields and the two countries’ keenness to elevate these relations to the best ranking.
In this context, FM Erray stressed the importance that Tunisia attaches to developing relationships with the United States to incorporate new fields.
The two sides emphasised the need to enhance consultation and coordination in the framework of multilateral action, especially in light of Tunisia’s membership in the Security Council . They further exchanged views on a number of international and regional issues of common concern, including developments of the situation in Libya.
