Foreign Minister Nourredine Erray, on Saturday, had a phone call with Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Nassif Hitti.
The two parties examined the different aspects of the fraternal and cooperative relationships between the two countries, emphasising the common will to further develop them in all fields, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The two ministers also talked about the economic and health conditions in Tunisia and Lebanon due to the repercussions of the Coronavirus crisis.
They stressed the necessity to strengthen international and Arab solidarity to face the major challenges arising from this pandemic.
They also exchanged views on developments in the world and in the region, underlining the willingness to continue dialogue bilaterally and in the various regional and international forums in the service of Arab causes and to consolidate the attributes of security and stability in the region.
