Tunisia-For Hatem Ben Salem, the next parliament will be a masquerade

In an interview with a private radio, former Minister of Education Hatem Ben Salem said he was in favor of a presidential regime.

He clarified that he supported the July 25 process while issuing reservations about the concentration of powers in the hands of the president of the republic  Kais Saïed.

For Ben Salem, it is essential to establish the Constitutional Court and set up a parliament. According to him, the electoral law and the legislative elections planned for December 17, 2022 will generate a masquerade.
