The Democratic Front solicits, according to the same source, to preserve the will of the people, their interests as well as freedoms, the rule of law and the Constitution.

The parties said Kais Saied professes a danger to the nation and national unity, adding that he violated the law and made hate speech directed at dividing Tunisians. They further pointed out that the Head of State violated the Constitution claiming his isolation. The parties, accordingly, called on the military and security forces and state institutions to cease dealing with Kais Saied.

According to the same source, the parties called on the judiciary to fight the “coup”. The Democratic Front, at the same time, expressed its support for the protests against Kais Saied calling on their affiliates to participate massively in these protest movements.
