Customs officers at Ras Jedir in Ben Guerdane managed to intercept a Libyan car, carrying four white tiger cubs of a very rare breed. Suspecting the situation, officers inspected the vehicle before it crosses the Lybian borders. The suspect, who is a Libyan national assured to have bought them at a zoo in Enfidha. The prosecution ordered to investigate the matter and keep the suspect under probation. Moreover, the cubs were delivered to The General Directorate of Forests.
