Tunisia – France refuses to extradite Belhassen Trabelsi

French justice refused, on Wednesday, to accede to the request for extradition formulated by the Tunisian state with regard to Belhassen Trabelsi, brother-in-law of ex-president Ben Ali.

Trabelsi was arrested in France in March 2019 on charges of forgery and complicity in money laundering. He has since been released on bail.
