Tunisia- Fuel price change anticipated beginning May 6

Adviser to the Minister of Energy in charge of the hydrocarbons Hamed Matri said that the public sale prices of some fuels will be reviewed downwards.The rate of reduction will be 1.5%, that is to say, a 30-millime cut”, he pointed out.

In a statement AficanManager,  Matri maintained that since the opening of April, the ministry has adopted a shift in the mechanism of regulating fuel prices every three months to 5% reduction or raise in connection to the current price.

Therefore, an adjustment of 1.5% drop or increase from the current price every month will be presented until approaching 2% at the commencement of January of the year 2021.
