37 people in the region of Chenini has contracted Hepatitis A, Director of preventive health care in Gabes regional health directorate Yahya Hamdi told Jawhara FM.
He attributes the illness due to non-respect of health maintenance regulations, adding that 25 children who live with people who contracted hepatitis A have been vaccinated.
He further pointed out that they are in the process of tracking cases and conducting monitoring operations for goods that can decay quickly.
