The regional committee against COVID-19 decided to resume Friday prayers starting this week given that the sermon does not surpass 15 minutes, with strict adherence to the health protocol and disinfection of mosques before and after each Friday prayer, while inviting the elderly and people with chronic diseases to stay in their homes.
Moreover, it was decided to modify the curfew timing in Ghannouch and Grand Gabes( Delegations of Gabes city, Southern and western Gabes. The new curfew will begin form 10:00 pm to 5:00 am from Monday to Friday while on Saturday and Sunday, the curfew will begin from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am as of October 28.
The committee also decided to allow cafes, restaurants and tea rooms in the Ghanoush to use tables and chairs within 30 percent of their capacity, starting from Wednesday, October 28, 2020,.It was also announced the cancellation of Mouled public celebrations on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday in mosques and all religious monuments.
