Approximately fifteen assaults on forest and animal resources in Gafsa have been reported during the curfew time, according to a report by the Directorate of Forestry and Fight against Desertification in Gafsa,the TAP reported.
Among this aggression, unlawful felling of forest trees, trade-in wildlife, anarchic hunting and grazing animals without permission, declared the president of the Forests Directorate in Gafsa Faida Mkaddemi.
Other assaults are linked to the apparent theft of wire mesh utilised for fencing in Jebal Orbata National Park and Orbata Nature Reserve, she told the TAP.
Violation reports have been drafted against the violators and actions have been taken to enhance protection and control near forest areas, told the same source.
