U.S-Video: Woman cuts hole in coronavirus face mask ‘to make it easier to breathe’

A shop worker in the U.S was left bemused after a customer informed him she ducked a hole in her coronavirus mask so she could breathe more efficiently.

According to the Mirror,Joe Samaan filmed himself confronting the woman as she walked up to the counter in S J Food Mart near Lexington, Kentucky, US.

In the video, Mr Samaan says: “So this girl is coming in with her mask on, you’ll need to see this.”

Mr Samaan confronts the customer as she pays for her fuel, asking her: “Where did you get that mask from?”

She then replies: “Well since we have to wear them and it makes it hard to breathe, this (cutting it) makes it a lot easier to breathe.”

The employee then says ‘cutting it?’ to which she responds ‘mm-hmm’.
