Tunisia-Ghazi Chaouachi denies involvement in conflict of interest case

In response to accusations of suspicion of a conflict of interest surrounding him, Minister of State Property and Land Affairs Ghazi Chaouachi affirmed that he had shifted the management of holdings in a family business for the benefit of another person following the provisions of Law No. 2018 -46 of August 1, 2018, on the declaration of assets, fight against illicit enrichment and the conflict of interest in the public sector.

Ghazi Chaouachi also said that he had declared his assets and interests to the National Anti-Corruption Authority (French: INLUCC)the day after he was appointed head of the Ministry of State Property and Land.
