Tunisia-Green number to report cases of violence against students

The Ministry of Education has launched a free number to promptly report cases of potential violence, extremism, hate speech and harassment crimes against students.

Minister of Education Hatem Ben Salem unveiled at a press conference held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, that the creation of the number 80104500 will enable receiving complaints from the families of the victims of violence or the victims themselves, stating that the reporting also incorporates all those who have witnessed violence.

He disclosed that a team of specialists in sociology and psychology will accept these complaints as a first step to ensure their trustworthiness, before transferring them to justice.
