Tunisia-Hamma Hammami: President Kais Saied has sided with the Turkish-Qatari axis

leader of the Tunisian Workers’ Party Hamma Hammami commanded to counteract attempts to implicate Tunisia in Regional line ups. He stressed that his party is firmly against any undercover foreign interference.

Speaking on Sunday at the second meeting of the Workers’ Party National Council, Hammami noted that successive Governments made Tunisia lose the independence of decision in the political, security, financial and diplomatic fields.

He further indicated that President Kais Saied doesn’t have any transparent program, indicating that his approach toward the Libyan file confirmed his alliance with the Turkish-Qatari axis, a policy which will have drastic consequences on Tunisia, he added

Many western powers particularly America, Italy, Britain and Germany, are eying Libya in an attempt to seize control of its strategic location and its oil and energy resources, remarked Hammami.

However, Turkey is seeking to expand its regional presence through a maritime agreement and controlling natural gas, a move that stirred the ire of many countries in the midst of this ongoing conflict.
