On the sidelines of the recent memorial for the anniversary of the passing of Nabil Barakati, the secretary-general of the Workers’ Party Hamma Hammami believed that Tunisia is going through a suffocating crisis similar to that of 1987 and even more extreme , according to his words.
He specified that the clash today is between “the right and the right”, in reference to the Ennahda movement, the President of the Republic Kais Saied and the Free Destourian Party.
