Agents from the Public Highway Division of the national security district in Hammamet were able to apprehend two individuals, in a private car, near one of the region’s educational institutions, who were attempting to sell headset kits used in the process of cheating on exams. The agents confiscated 74 small batteries, 05 headphones, and 05 electronic cards and presented the suspects to the headquarters of the Judicial Police Division in Hammamet.
After inquiry, it was disclosed that they intended to transfer the above-mentioned material to another person to promote it and exploit it for cheating in national exams, in educational institutions. This person was also arrested and discovered in his possession 120 batteries and 05 chargers, as well as cables for specific electronic headphones, all seized for the investigation.
After examination by the public prosecutor, he authorized the detention of all these individuals for “possession of objects of unknown origin to sell them and exploit them to cheat in national exams”, according to the general directorate of national security.
