Tunisia-Hatem Mliki:The fight against corruption must be comprehensive and not selective

Remarking on the shutdown and seizure of Nessma TV and Al Quran Al Karim radio equipment,  Hatem Mliki told Tunisie Numerique that all Tunisians are now in favour of a real battle on corruption. He emphasised, nevertheless, that the fight against corruption must be comprehensive and not selective.

He estimated that the legislative texts organizing the HAICA must be reviewed, recalling that despite the decision of the authority, the broadcasting of programs on the channel Zitouna TV has never been suspended. The politician likewise commented on remarks made by current Democrat chairman Ghazi Chaouachi following accusations by Kais Saied.

 

 

He called on the President of the Republic to avoid making vague accusations, without naming the identity of those concerned.
