The President of the High Authority for Administrative and Financial Control, Imed Hazgui, stated that during the period from 2011 to July 25, 2021, state institutions registered the assignment of 400,000 people in various sectors, adding that the Ministry of Education occupies first place in terms of number of recruits, followed by the Ministries of Higher Education, Employment, Interior, then National Defense.
He added that about 15,000 recruitment files have not been received by the commissions responsible for administrative and financial control and that the Control Authority may have to expand the verification period by a few more weeks in order to be able to verify all fraudulent assignment files to the public service and state institutions during the aforementioned period and take the required legal measures to this effect.
