143 deputies voted for the establishment of an Interim Finance Committee during today plenary session at the House of People’s Representatives to examine the draft 2019 Supplementary Finance Law and the draft 2020 State Budget. Only one MP voted against and 4 abstained.
Composed from 22 members, the committee includes 5 from the Ennahda movement, four members from the Heart of Tunisia Party, 2 from 2 Democratic Current, 2 from Dignity Coalition,2 from the Destourian Free Party, 2 from People’s Movement, 2 from Tahya Tounes and 3 independents.
Heart of Tunisia Iyadh Elloumi will lead the committee with the democratic current Hichem Ajbouni acting as his vice president, also, Ennahdha Fayçal Derbel will be appointed as a first rapporteur while Dignity Coalition Mondher Ben Ataya and Destourian Free Party Lamia Jaïdane will act as assistant rapporteurs
