Tunisia-HPR speaker Rached Ghannouchi receives Italy Ambassador to Tunisia Lorenzo Fanara

Speaker of the House of People’s Representatives Rached Ghannouchi hospitably received Italy Ambassador to Tunisia Lorenzo Fanara at Bardo palace , who delivered a letter of sincere congratulations from Italien President Sergio Mattarella and prime minister Giuseppe Conte.

Ghannouchi underscored the profound historical relationship that ties the two countries and the constant journey to expand tremendously partnerships in multiple domains. He further established the imperative necessity to powerfully build an innovative strategic vision for cooperation between the two friendly countries, making Tunisia and Italy the intersection between the African and European continents as well as other countries.

In conclusion, he stressed the importance of Tunisia role in the Libyan conflictexpressing that Italy regards Tunisia as a chief party in resolving the Libyan problem, which requests for its active participation in the Berlin conference.
