Tunisia-STEG denies an increase in electricity and gas tariffs

The Tunisian Company of Electricity and Gas”STEG ” denied any planned increase in electricity and gas tariffs, announced the company director Mounir El Ghab in a declaration to the TAP agency.

He denied the STEG intention to increase electricity and gas consumption by 11% starting January 2020.

Previously, secrety general of the General Federation of Electricity and Gas announced the firm refusal of any planned increase on electricity and gas as stipulated in the 2020 state budget draft.
