Ennahdha Movement spokesman Imed Khmiri declared today that several accusations have been directed at the party and its leaders. He confirmed that the release of Noureddine Bhiri certifies the innocence of Ennahdha. “According to judicial inquiries, no leader or supporter of Ennahdha is implicated in cases of corruption or sending young people to jihad. The party also has no relationship with foreign funding,” he said.
The official returned to the decline of the general situation in the country in the period following the implementation of the July 25 measures. “All economic indicators are in the red. This could jeopardise political and social stability in the country,” he added.
