Tunisia-IMF-UGTT: We reject any negotiations in which we have not participated

The UGTT slammed the ambiguity and opacity of negotiations with the IMF as well as the absence of any participatory formula. The UGTT called for more clarity demanding the right to access information. It likewise called for implicating national organizations and components of civil society in the conduct of negotiations in order to safeguard the interests of the people.

“We refuse any negotiation to which we have not helped to develop the programs, mechanisms, goals and results” adds the same source.
