The President and CEO of Allouhoum Company, Tarek Bin Jazia, confirmed today, Thursday, March 28, 2024, that the company allocated the first imported shipments of refrigerated veal yesterday.
He told the media that: “The first shipment, assessed at 20 tonnes, was distributed to butchers and large commercial outlets. It is a meat breed coming from France, and it is one of the finest and most refined giving the best types of meat.
The sale price to the general public will be 35,600 dinars/kg, and its distribution has begun throughout the territory of the Republic.
He added: “There will be a second delivery next week and it will continue until June, and the supply quota will be 1,500 tonnes of high-quality refrigerated beef”, highlighting the intervention of the Company Allouhoum in terms of prices, particularly since they have attained record levels in recent months.
