Tunisia-Incidence rate surpasses one thousand per 100,000 inhabitants in six governorates

 

The Ministry of Health issued an update on the incidence rate by governorates on Thursday, July 15, 2021. The numbers match the period from June 28 to July 11. Tataouine ranked first with the highest infection rate. The governorate has an incidence rate of 1,724 per 100,000 inhabitants.

Manouba has 1251 per 100,000 inhabitants and Nabeul 1151 per 100,000 inhabitants. Meanwhile, the governorate of Tunis reported an incidence rate of 887 per 100,000 inhabitants.

All the governorates of Tunisia have far surpassed the very high alert level. The national average of infections per 100,000 inhabitants is 796, according to the Ministry of Health.
