| The Interior Minister issued an order to put four people under house arrest over their breach of self-quarantine measures in the governorates of Jendouba, Sfax and Mahdia.
This measure falls in line with national efforts to combat the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the ministry Wednesday said. Sixteen people were arrested and 53 others remained at liberty pending their trial over infringement of decisions relating to business closing times. Besides, 69 businesses were shut down over non-compliance with this measure announced by the Prime Minister. “The ministry will continue to address such violations and will enforce law with all the firmness required,” said the same source. |
