Tunisia: Interior Ministry warns of curfew violation

The interior ministry declared that given the introduction of the 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew, anyone who does not comply with this restrictive measure will encounter penalties. It is :
  • Confiscation of the driver’s license and vehicle registration document for 7 days
  • Writing minutes. According to the same source, a temporary license valid for only one day from the date of the offence will be granted to the driver In the event of a repeat offence, the vehicle will be confiscated for 7 days.

At the same time, the ministry called on citizens to uphold the health protocol decreed by the authorities, in particular wearing masks.
