| The Independent Higher Authority for the Elections (ISIE) announced the municipal by-election timetable in the Tabarka, Amiret Lefhoul, Sakiet Ezzit and Kalaa Kobra municipalities.
The election day in Tabarka (Jendouba governorate) and Amiret Lefhoul (Monastir) is set for December 26, 2021. Security officers and servicemen will vote on December 25. The preliminary results will be announced no later than December 29, and the final results will not be later than January 29, 2022, following the expiry of appeals. The filing of applications in the municipalities of Tabarka and Amiret Lefhoul will be open from October 25 to November 1, 2021. The selected lists of candidates will be announced no later than November 4, 2021. The municipal by-elections in Sakiet Ezzit (Sfax) and Kalaa Kobra (Sousse) are set for January 16, and security officers and servicemen will vote on January 25. Preliminary results will be announced no later than January 19 and the final results no later than February 19, following the expiry of appeals. For the latter two municipalities, applications must be filed at the Independent Local Authority for the Elections (IRIE) offices from November 8 till November 15, 2021.
