The Italian Interior Ministry welcomed, this Thursday, in a post on the X platform, the firm commitment of the Tunisian authorities in the combat against illegal migration.
The ministry noted that Tunisian law enforcement officers have succeeded in recent hours in identifying and apprehending 124 individuals implicated in the organization of migration operations, as well as the seizure of several metal canoes employed in the crossings, as well as the vehicles that are used to pick up migrants from the starting locations, and large sums of money.
