Tunisia – Kairouan: Unemployed people block the GP2 road

Long-time unemployed people who had been protesting since yesterday in front of the headquarters of the governorate of Kairouan, moved on Monday to block the GP2 road, at the entry of Kairouan, at a place called, roundabout of the carpet.
They were demonstrating against President Kaïs Saïed’s decision to invalidate Law 38 of 2020, relating to the employment of the long-term unemployed. They affirmed that the president reversed a great achievement of young people, while he alleges that young people are the only teachers and decision-makers in the nation.
