President of the Republic Kais Saied Saturday departed Tunisia for the United Arab Emirates to mourn the passing of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Ben Zayed Al Nahyan.
Shortly before his departure, the Head of State reviewed a detachment of the three armies paying him honours before saluting the flag to the sound of the national anthem.
Saied was seen off by Prime Minister Najla Bouden, Tunis Governor Kamel Fekih, Tunis Mayor Souad Abderrahim, the presidential cabinet members and UAE Ambassador in Tunis Rached Mansouri. |
