The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, welcomed today the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ramtane Lamamra at Carthage presidential palace.
The latter handed over a written letter from Algerian President Abdelmajid Tebboune, according to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic.
The President of the Republic emphasised the significance of consultation and coordination with Algeria on bilateral and regional issues in order to secure the security and stability of the two nations and to battle against the dangers that threaten the region.
For his part, the Algerian minister announced that the geopolitical circumstances dictate the establishment of new customs of regular consultation between Tunisia and Algeria.
