Tunisia-Kaïs Saïed : “Wealth is great and our will is unlimited…”

 
 
 

On Sunday, December 24, 2023, President of the Republic Kaïs Saïed and his wife partook in the local elections by voting in a polling station in the El Mnihla region of the Ariana governorate. During a speech, President Saïed stressed the need to unite to build a new Republic, addressing the extent of corruption in the country. He voiced confidence in moving in the right direction and responding to the hopes of the people.

“Wealth is great and our will is unlimited (…). Its human wealth is incredible, and we must count on ourselves and our abilities, and we will build our country with our efforts and our sweat (…) and the future belongs to the sovereign Tunisian people (…),” confirmed the President of the Republic. He stressed that the ongoing reforms align with Tunisia’s revolutionary path and called for active participation, especially from those who were marginalized in previous elections.
