Tunisia -Kais Saied’s first comment on the continuous increase in fuel prices

The President of the Republic, Kais Saied, remarked during his meeting with the Governor of the Central Bank, Marouen Abassi, on the constant rise in fuel prices. Saied pointed out that the state is compelled to raise fuel prices due to global crises that have led to higher oil prices.

He said that the Tunisian State is sovereign, having perceptions and capabilities and that it is not a farm, nor a garden, nor a land without a master.
