The presidency of the Republic has denied to the press the rumour alluding to a supposed visit by President Kaïs Saïed to France, following the attack in Nice perpetrated by a Tunisian national.
Rumour has that Kaïs Saïed visited France on this occasion and that he even had several meetings with French politicians.
The media released this information after ex-MP Riadh Jaïdane announced via his Facebook account that Kais Saïed was visiting France amid the Nice bombing.
Riadh Jaïdane even quoted the “complete program” of this false visit before later admitting that this information is pure invention.
